2. That Blackhawks game was the first time that I wasn’t just frustrated with the Preds, I was truly pissed off. That is a very hard thing to accomplish, but well done Preds, you got me there.

Great thoughts ladies, we have no idea what will happen…those last two games were a kind of a weird dichotomy of the season. Emma appreciate the Bart Simpson-esque "At Least You Tried" cake meme thought. Anne, appreciate you repping your Pennsylvania roots—them Eagles I mean what can you say? I definitely have brotherly love for Philly and the Birds, and not just because I never believed the crazy notion that the NFL wanted to hand a Lombardi to the Chiefs because ummm "Taylor Swift and their 40th some odd media market?" (sorry ya'll you going to rig it send it to New York or LA but yeah Kansas City?). I'll say we don't know what we don't know will happen with this team. Should Brunette do some things? Yep. Should Trotz make some moves here? Yep. Do we know what they are? Nope. Will there be a crazy pants off his rocker offer an NBA style "we'll trade you Luka Doncic for whatever.." or a Mara like "we aren't paying Saquon Barkley them running backs aren't worth potatoes"—have no clue. I'm sure lots of words and thoughts will be spoken, but I do know some 3rd or 4th liners might need to be moved because we need to see some young cats come from Milwaukee. Might there be a trade in the hopper that sends a young ish type forward (around 20ish) or defenseman that is being blocked for one reason or another or needs an address change to a better situation where he can play (for us)? It might. I'd take more assets or young guys with offensive upside. The market is going to have to quite a few buyers and ROR, Gus, Novak,—-those guys are all useful to a playoff team or a contender. I'm going to credit the players from not just giving up against Buffalo, because as a fan that Chicago game kind of almost broke me. lol. SO yeah 4 Nations, am I rooting for a high lottery pick (even though this presumed player WILL not be the savior at least initially?)..want to see some good stuff here! As a fan of any kind of fandom when you are near the bottom I think you want to see ANYTHING that makes you feel optimistic! ANYTHING! lol.
