Huuuuge McCann fan! I would be so thrilled if we picked him up. Brod shouldn't be on the roster at all. He has played very well for hfd in the past and should be brought back, although I think they'd have to place him on waivers first.
Makes no sense if we are giving up a premium prospect we need a first line player ideally a goal scorer
Seattle says they'll trade him for Lafreniere.
This guy plays in small market team and of course he would get more points. It will be incredibly stupid to give up so much for this guy.

Trent Frederick of Boston is a C…and brings grit and aggression. This would be my choice.
I’d rather them go more of a Trent Fredric type route. Could probably get him for lindy, a low pick and a mid prospect. Than just call up branny or give jones more time. The rangers have a decent pool but it’s not deep so trading a stud doesn’t make much sense for a guy who would likely be a 3c

Just a simple idea from a old guy that has been, and witnessed Ranger trades for the past 60+ years. Don't make them! add to the team yes, get rid of access or under performing expensive players yes. Mostly, we have many God players playing out of position. Play them were they belong. Example Lafrenier, he's a natural left winger that excelled as a playmaker and shooter. Play him on the left, BTW he shoots left. Play Panarin on the right. BTW he shoots right. Trochek or other at center. Now you have a balanced line, and so on. No big deal. Most importantly, our coach has to modify his approach. He should adjust to the available players skill level and mold the team accordingly Players adjust just to his methods. Don't make a stalion play like a plumber and plumber play like a stalion. I feel that our coach is a bit anal and that his shelf life is not so long. Anyway, if absolutely needed, make prudent trades that benefit the team and don't give up on young players because you made bad drafts. Just draft better players.
