They had a great expansion draft, tested certain rules or lack there of. But theyve done a great job and were also bless with a good yr to be an expansion but they took advantage of it with the right decisions. Cant say the same about seattle i hated seattles expansion draft when they did it and they are basically in a rebuild already in yr 4.

I picked Vegas as my hockey team bc I had never followed hockey regularly and I didn’t have a team growing up in the south of USA. Hockey just didn’t exist. I didn’t know it existed til my teenage years. So in college, I heard about the expansion, jump on board, and was gonna follow this supposed to be bad team like a true fan. Then, they went to the finals, got completely rejected by hockey fans online/in real life for following Vegas, and almost gave up on being a hockey fan. However, I stuck with my trying to love and follow a new sport and I’m glad I did. This channel has been a real Boone to that. Thanks Shannon!

Ask anyone who lived in Vegas during their inaugural season or is a current resident how much this team means to them and you’ll know why even though they are almost universally hated, they will always be Vegas’s team and have a place in the NHL.

Thanks for the video! Great info, details, and insights! Knights came out of the gate hot. They are an example of how an expansion team should be built, and you have only to look at the Kraken to know it isn't a simple thing to do. A A grade is well deserved. Maybe they should have gotten an A+.
