Getting Rantanen would be really interesting, but does it really address their issues?? Specifically, their lack of physicality and soft blue line
Will the Rangers be the power house to make the playoffs and break their dry spell of losing the big one. I feel Drury is tuning up the team for the 2025-2026 season this is more of a Drury rebuild and protecting his prospect super stars .
Id love to have rantanen, but as long as this D core stays and Housley keeps drawing the strats we will remain on this side of the hump.

Rantanen will be way too expensive. That money will be better spent on the top couple of defensemen in free agency. Rangers need to move Lindgren & K'iller. Othmann scored two more goals yesterday, both assisted by Berard & Robertson. Make room for kids instead of the big splash on a forward.
this would be great. it is going to make us top heavy…again. but i guess if there is a player worth doing it for Rantanen is in that conversation.
