  1. We need the old school Adam Foote unleashed on him. It's time to make EP40 hungry for hockey again.

  2. The difference between Elias Petterson and JT Miller is in the old saying about hockey players: "There's two kinds of players —- guys who show up to play hockey, and hockey players". Petterson is a guy who shows up, Miller is a hockey player. Miller is the kind of guy who will get into a team brawl 9 seconds into the start of the game with Canada. Petterson is a guy who has never had a fight in his life, as far as I know. EP40 has proved to everyone that becoming the 5th Highest Paid player in the NHL was a huge mistake by Canucks management, and this season is pretty well over. I don't think he will ever live up to the expectations, although he can be a really good player, just not a superstar.

  3. Boy did the Canucks make the wrong trade…he’s not even making an effort. he is pathetic!

  4. I have been a petty defender for a while. This tournament was his chance to change ppls minds…

I wasn't think it would be changing the minds of his defenders

  5. It has gotten so bad for Petey it doesn't even look like he likes playing hockey anymore.

  6. I’ve never ever seen a professional athlete absolutely mail it in after signing a big contract is astonishing how much worse he is since all star break last season.

  7. They really should have traded him last years deadline before the extension. I was calling for it then, and still am now. I believe he still has it in him to be an elite player but sadly I don't think it will be with the Canucks. He needs a fresh start on another team because the amount of media attention he gets here is too much. I honestly think it would be best for Canucks to move him for assets, and I think it would be best for Petey as well.

  8. Overpaid. Sucks to be a Van fan, but I am not surprised with the weak sauce. But seriously man stop saying his name like a swede its pathetic.

  9. He’s getting extorted for a video of some gay dude ramming him at last years allstar game.. I don’t blame him for playing so bad.. he’s probably scared shitless..

  10. I never understood the rush to resign him and certainly for not that kind of a number. He's paid like he drives the offence like a Mcdavid or Mckinnon but he is nowhere near that kind of player.

  11. I still say Miller is a locker room and on ice cancer, Petterson is looking more like a benign tumor.

  12. Maybe stop playing video games, work out, work hard in practice, and start getting physical! He's soft emotionally and physically!

  13. Sweeds high skill US has way less skill. Petey rocks .Nice passes playing smart not to get hurt. Canucks will make post season. Go Canucks

  14. Pettereson isn't even NHL quality. Its astouning how many people think that a guy, who can barely skate, has no ability to skate while stick handeling and thinks he is on skis most of the time, is underachieving? How about since he is terrible that he has overachieved and overpayed. You are blinded by his salary? I don't know but i am correct and i guess you think your words make me wrong. Just watch and he is and will be the average player or less until he retires. Fact

  15. Canucks didn’t trade the wrong guy……they just need to finish trading EP40!
Miller is the type who will pick a couple on the team and ride them, what he needed was a good old fashioned locker room initiation to how it’s going to be, his history preceded him, but I guess they thought maybe age and Tocchet could control it, never happened, Petey got to go now also.

  16. and u love him still Leggo… SORRY MAN IM NOT DEPRESSED OF HIM SO PLEASE DONT PUT ME IN THAT CATEGORY ITS GUYS LIKE U THAT THINK HE'S A TOP 10 PLAYER… HE'S NOT EVEN A TOP 50 PLAYER…. $11.6 MILL

  17. So at this stage you have to wonder about substance abuse. We have all seen him play at another level. We have not seen him party.

  18. Vancouver is a hate filled city now a days. Seems that the media and channels like this are so negative all the time. I’m beginning to believe that has a lot to do with players not wanting to play here. A canuck could score a highlight of his career or season goal, and all the media and fans will still be hyper focused on petey or miller or one the goalies for under preforming or for only scoring one goal and not 3-4 goals…..

  19. Petterson is an overrated player who should’ve been traded. He again a no show vs the USA game yesterday. Trade him before the trading deadline.
