Kiril Zarubin should be an honerable mention. he is sporting a 2.38 GAA and a .933 sv% in russia MHL

  2. We have a future Vezina winner, a future Norris winner but without a future Rocket Richard candidate we won’t win our third Stanley Cup. I don’t see how we acquire that player with Wolf preventing a top 3 pick

  3. ❤ a ton, hope Cony can turn some of the talent into positional need. LD and Centers. After all we have more coming in the upcoming deaft.

  4. Parekh, Gridin, Battaglia, Mews and Suniev will all be great Calgary Flames players in the near future..

  5. I can't argue too much against any of your Top 6 choices. But, I do have a couple other players who might be suitable for the +4 category. Andrew Basha, WHL, 19, 6'0", 185 lb. LW, 9G + 20A = 29P in 23 games. I think that we'd be talking about Basha a lot more if he hadn't sustained a long term LBI injury in January. If this injury does not set him back in a major way, I feel that his ceiling is still as a 2nd line NHL winger in 4 – 5 years. Next season, I believe that he has the option of playing as a 20 year old in the WHL or turning pro with the AHL Wranglers. Additionally I'd also choose Matvei Gridin, QMJHL, 18, 6'1", 190 lb. RW, 27G + 34A = 61P in 46 games. Gridin has had a unique journey through hockey, He played in Russia until he was 16, then played 2 seasons with the Muskegon Lumberjacks (Michigan) in the USHL, he's now in his first of a possible 2 seasons in the Q (CHL). If his current progress does not have a major stall, I believe that his ceiling also is as a 2nd line NHL winger in the same 4 – 5 years.

  6. Mews Needs To Decide Whether He Wants To Be An Experienced Hockey Player Or A College Boy. The More Games The Better And Only A Small Number In College, He'll Continue To Get Game Experience In The CHL And Move To AHL & Possibly More.
