Mlb all-star game used to mean something because the only time each league played each other was the world series. They will never do this but if the NBA and MLB truly wanted to spark that rivalry ,the NBA would cut down dramatically in out of division games and baseball would do the same with interleague games

The NHL has a Father's Day Trip event in which players fathers go on a trip to a different city and cheer on their sons ( almost every player has an active Dad that raised them in the NHL) Imagine the NBA trying that. The NBA produced guys straight out of high school that were dogs and upheld competitiveness in the NBA. Kobe and Kevin Garnett came out of HS in the 90’s. The NBA had no competition issues then. People were still interested in the NBA. It’s the soft mentality of these athletes, catering to them, and the exorbitant amount of money they are being paid. Companies pay their employees enough to where an employee still needs the employer. These guys feel like they don’t need the NBA because they are so rich.

Whitlock what you described was off-sides but not really even. The puck can cross the other teams blue line, it just can be touched by an offensive player until all offensive players touch back at the blue line. Icing is when the offense shoots the puck down the ice before the center red line and it crosses the other team’s goal line. Icing is used to get a line change or waste time for penalties. Hilarious how Steve Kim thought he knew and gave it to you. Both were wrong! Hahahaha. You guys are the best in sports though. All love!
