Catching up – couldn’t agree more on Hartman. He gets a two handed with a slash against Ottawa and gets an embellishment penalty. I can’t remember what game it was but he was mauled in front of the net with 3 two-handed cross checks – no calls. At some point, a player snaps. I’m not defending Hartman’s actions, just giving some understanding to why he snapped. The non-call on McDavid for the Johansson elbow, shows the favoritism towards certain franchises, players, Hartman is not on that list, nor 97. Beat up Kaprisov, the league will not protect him is how you knock the Wild out of the playoffs. Buium and Jiricek are going to be mainstays, Lambos might be the 7 D next year. Building the backend is how you win championships- goalie, D, and out. I couldn’t agree, we are close to being a long-term top contender. Next year the cards fall into place – watch..
