Atta boy Mitch! Great interview, with out marner’s OT winner against Sweden they may have not been in this position…he played a great game, liked how cooper saw he was really plying last night and bumped him up to that 1st line.
I told my wife last night if the US is gonna win this game in the overtime I hope it’s matthews who scores it…came really close, 3 times, fantastic game from the captain last night.

As a Toronto hockey fan for 40 years I can say this;
The Leafs hire captains not for winning skills.
They hire based on their apology skills.
