Go Kings go
Great win by the Los Angeles Kings! 🏒 👑
good lord Darrel has stepped up his attire
"One-nothing… Hockey Club." Did I detect a bit of drollery by Nick?😜
Get into fights

Go Kings Go!
The Drew Doughty set-up pass and Alex Laferriere's resulting game-winner (7:35) might be the obvious nightly "highlight reel" quality goal, but I think the entirety of Fiala's game-tying goal (6:00), though not as flashy, should be as well.
An Adrian Kempe drop-pass (somewhat) leads to a blazingly accurate two-line pass (remember when those were illegal?) from Kevin Fiala to Anze Kopitar at the Utah blue line.
Kempe doesn't hesitate rushing the net and gets a shot off Kopitar's pass, and Laferriere is right there to attempt an immediate second shot at the net.
The resulting rebound is completely surrounded by all four penalty-killing Utah players (Club Members?) and their goalie, but Fiala distrupts Kevin Stenlund just enough to allow Kempe to control the puck.
Kempe's blocked pass attempt to Laferriere (the only time any Utah player other than their goalie, manages to touch the puck) is perfectly tipped by a hustling Doughty, leading to a quick give-and-go pass from Laferriere back to Doughty, who initiates an around-the-horn pass, via Kopitar, leading to Fiala's one-timer, all within a 15 second span of a tenacious siege.
Once Kopitar sets up the play in the offensive zone, only Kempe and Doughty "handle" the puck and both only for a very brief moment. The rest is crisp, almost perfect (sorry Kempe!) passing.
9:00 – Not only does Trevor Lewis sweep the puck into the net, but he has to avoid getting tripped up by Tanner Jeannot to get to that Jordan Spence rebound. Ironically, if he had a straight path toward the rebound, it's possible that the altered timing might have resulted in failing to get the puck past the goalie.
11:11 – I can't recall ever witnessing the goaltender being part of mid-game goal-scoring celebration, much less being the first to congratulate that teammate.
(2:38 – shoddy editing – why?)
After playing with Team Canada the Kings game probably feels in slow motion to Drew. Just like that he’s in season form.
Kings Win!! #GOKINGSGO
Go Kings Go
If you notice, Byfield should have been called for a penalty at the 2:13 mark. But, no call and Drew had an absolute bomb to tie it up.
I knew Dewie would be on full send coming out of the tourney. Great game & Finals has been 🔥. GKG!!!!
