Woke joke evil people
It's funny. Just a few hours earlier I was watching the Penguins game and complained that dumping the puck in when you have teammates who are offside should automatically be called offside and then this extremely weird granular call was made.
Even as a Leafs fan I think that should have been offside.
Love your energy
This lfr should have been called Blackhawks down just saying.
Did anyone clip that clip of Nylander going “I swear that was off-“ and then cutting himself off bc I think he saw he was on camera 😂 it was on the espn broadcast I think and it cracked me up
Honestly i think tavares black tape reeeeaaalllly helped the review with it being called a goal on the ice. Couldn’t find a a good enough angle to overturn
Thanks!
So if that was a good goal because Tavares DIDN'T possess the puck, wouldn't it basically be the same as a dump-in with a player offside? Which wouod be… Offside?
Was it Holmberg that flattened Mikheyev?
“11 goals in 48 hours”
Capitals: that’s cute
The most impressive thing was the leafs actually beat a team at the bottom of the standings. Usually they mail it in for those games. It drives me crazy 🤪
To be fair. Mike Johnson was all over the review and was explaining why it was taking so long and they were trying to get the replays to see when JT actually touched it. So if you were watching TSN you knew why it was taking so long. MJ is the best.
Rumor (even if I am starting it) trade of Edmonton Oiler Connor Brown 7G 15A 22 pts +7 (Ontario boy) to Toronto for Pontus Holmberg 5G 7 A 12 pts -1. So the #7 pts Oiler for the# 15 Maple Leaf. What do you think?
Please god don't start the lets keep holmberg in the lineup train. He got 2 empty net goals and one nylander generously spoonfed him. I don't think he needs to be traded but either send him down or 4th line him on the wing.
“I’m saaaailing away” lol
If playoffs started today would they play red wings?
WE NEED A EPISODE WHERE YOU JUST ASWER QUESTIONS !!!!!!
Garrett Sparks?
Robertson certainly goes to the net an awful lot for a defenseman…
It was called onside because it's not just about puck possession. You actually have to touch your stick on the puck before they can call offside. Tavares took his stick off the puck before it crossed the blueline. By the time he touched it again, Nylander's skate was on the blueline.
Chicagos 2nd goal wasn’t so much on domi as it is rielly. Why is rielly up at the blue line making domi cover. All started as a bad pressure from rielly
Did he (JT) touch the puck when it was pass the blueline before the other player (willy) that was deemed offside , tagged up. If the answer is no, it's onside. It's really not confusing to me.
TJ Brodie helping his old mates.
LET'S GO! Thank you for answering my question!
Honestly, I’m a Hawks fan and I think that should have been a good goal. Sure, Nylander was in the zone early, but he tagged up before touching the puck so he followed the spirit of the rule. It wasn’t an unfair advantage for the Leafs, so it should be fine
Now, about the Cube Rule of Food…
Don't let Holmberg 3 goals in 2 games fool you, 1 hit him and went in, 2 were empty net goals, he still sucks
Am I the only one who doesn't find that offside rule to be that confusing? It's like how if there's a high stick or a glove pass and the teams don't want to touch it, the play continues until the person actually touches the puck that is inches away from them.
