    How the heck did they get him off for nothing. For Walman, they attached a 2th round pick to dump him even though walman was a decent player. Husso has been straight up bad.

    Yzerman might just be doing Husso a favor by letting him move on. This type of kindness treatment to players breeds goodwill around the NHL and makes players more likely to want to play in Detroit.

    Remember when Yzerman traded a 3rd for Husso when he was about to become a UFA anyway? Yzerman is the most overrated GM in the nhl. Hes clueless.

    Why add Casey Mittelstadt in to a potential trade for the redwings wouldn’t cost much and could slide into that second C spot

    The Ducks will try to trade Gibson and need a goalie. They are close the the salary floor and need some salary in the books to be able to trade.
    Fabbri, Dumoulin, maybe even Gudas, Gibson on the move and maybe some other moves would mean 20m less cap, and they would be under the floor.
    Also, Ducks dont have enough numbers in the AHL, they needed an AHL goalie and won`t need the cap anyway.
    DET has tons of cap space anyway due to Copp out, and they shouldn`t make big moves.
    It`s a crazy tournaround of a season, but the draft is deep and the roster not good enough for a deep run.

    I hope Detroit trades for both cozens and Bryam. Wouldn’t mind them trading danielson and this years first to do so. If it doesn’t work out they still have next years first and some high level prospects to do for now

    The last thing Buffalo wants is more picks and prospects for their nhl players. They’re not gonna tank after 14 years of suck

    Any world where sens and wings swap Perron and Tarasenko? Both were great on the opposite teams last year but this year hasn’t worked out great for either.

    I am on board for trading for Couzens and Byrum, but I never hear what it would realistically take acquire them, what do you feel Buffalo would require to trade them? Two firsts( 2026 top10 protected)? Plus, Holl and Willander? Wings are not likely moving Kasper Edvinsson Cossa or ASP. So what can they offer Buffalo to make the deal you suggested?

    No cozens just like no zegras. Get Pettersson while his value is at an all time low (trade brandsegg nygard, some filler and a condition 2nd, which becomes a 1st if the wings make the playoffs). And when Danielson makes the team, Pettersson can play wing.
    He is a swede and with Dboss as the bonafide 1C, there will be less pressure and more favourable matchups for him. Not to mention he will get to play with kane and cat

    Yzerman's definitely up to something and im thinking its gonna b a blockbuster or 2 trades , so excited 😊, Wings r 1 of the hottest teams in the NHL , also those that saying Kane is gonna b traded 🤣🤣🤣 kane aint going anywhere , kane is gonna keep signing with Detroit until he wants to retire a Hawk , book it

    Imagine if Detroit traded for Cozens and/or Byram. I just don't want to see Yzerman trade any of their top prospects or players. I'd rather see Yzerman trade futures 1st round draft picks and maybe a B level prospect, etc
