Trade Brock 9 million nope
Of course he wants to stay
Being lazy is a pattern here in Vancouver
Wish we can trade Alviin
Petey never played in OT either
$8 MILL at 7 Years is ok
Lets get it done ASAP
He averages 25 – 27 Goals a year
If Petey gets paid $11.6 Mill then Brock Deserves $8 Mill
He has more goals and points than Petey while playing 2 fewer games
Brock will get 30 – 40 Goals easily if he had a good 2C feeding him
He dating a Girl from Vancouver
Thats another reason he wants to stay
Boeser is not worth that much!
skip the fluff 4:00
lego, multiple agents already spoke out about this. They said with the salary cap going up…..that doesnt mean youll be able to sign more players. All it means is the current players you have right now…..are going to start to demand to be paid more money.
so with boeser……it worked out perfectly. Hes a ufa……..and the league announced the cap is going up. it worked out perfectly for him. So now the caps going up……as a player he wants more money.
quit frankly, I only worry about Boeser will become the next Jeff Skinner, one good year, signed long fat contract then suck after that.
Boeser WILL get more if he goes elsewhere, maybe not anywhere, but a team like Chicago would drop 9m on him to play alongside Bedard, once they want to commit to some contracts and finally pull out of the rebuild. If he goes to a place like Chicago and they decide to go all-in and actually build a team, he will be around for their strongest years, which is probably appealing.
We'll probably keep him around for 8 years at 8.5m, which is fine imo, if he can keep up the ~30 goal pace. In 3 years that contract is gonna look like a 5m contract looks this year. I just hope they can find a sensible build for this core. I genuinely have no idea what they're gonna do with EP40. My gut tells me they're committed, and they're gonna ride this out in the hopes that he gets his sh!t together. But the fact that they made his first year not include the no-trade does suggest they wanted the opportunity to move him. So idfk. But whatever they do with him directly affects what happens with Boeser as well – or rather, it should. Who we get in return, do they play well with Boeser? We need players that work together, and right now it feels like our bottom 6 is faiiirly solid, but our top 6 are a chaotic mess. More so than it has been in quite a while.
Boeser: 9 million a year for 4 years I would give him.
Let Boeser walk, he’s not gonna produce like last year ever again.
Trade him
That makes for an easy decision….trade him faster than you can blink.
9 mill for so slow stupid if the team does that slow enough with ep40 trade him asap
While 9mill sees insane, I wouldn't go out of my way to call Frank the most "credible" insider ever
I would not give boeser a dime over 7, let alone 9
Bye bye Boes! If he and his agent are asking over 7.5 per trade him. If he ends up on a bottom dweller…oh well!
Trash channel
Boeser best years behind him, 9 mil!! time to cut the ties.
Love boeser but can’t give him high 8s, I’d consider high 7s on a 7 year deal, also I’d consider trading him 1 for 1 for McCann at this point
They all play their hearts out til get a big raise then slack off
if you read his past correct you will see that he is always around 50ish points, even in his "good" rookie season. the only season he was really good, was the last season with 40 goals. its so unreasonable to sign him to such a huge contract just based on last years performance. If he could sticks around 50 points, he would be in the jake debrusk range, not more then 6'000'000. everything higher than that would be just a bad management deal.
Should trade him as part of a deal for a #1 center or picks/center prospects
5years6.1mil
If Petterson is worth 11.6
Boeser is worth north of 9.0
Just trade him. Thats it.
Trade him obviously. For at least a 1st round pick. 😊
