What I noticed: The Oilers are a fast, skilled team that plays fast, loose, and wild with the puck. The Wild are a solid, tough team that plays consistently up and down the line-up. They take advantage when they can, and are very disciplined in their play. The Wild capitalized on their opportunities. The Oilers didn't.

Way too early to say with confidence, but I can see the Wild earning the President's Trophy this season. The entire east is too much of a heavy weight knockdown, drag-out between the top 5-7 teams, and the Pacific Div is too inconsistent, with Vancouver, SJ and LA able to spoil things for anyone on top of that division as well. With Chicago and Arizona helping to really weaken the Central, the Wild have a good chance at holding a #1 spot by the end of it. We'll see how it goes.

Wild fan here. I don't agree with the comments that the Oilers played bad, or the Wild played way better. You simply ran into Talbot standing on his head. Even at 3-1, I wasn't convinced we had it in the bag. GG Oiler fans.

Either someone has a horribly trained service dog…. or some fan is just an idiot barking like that. I'd have punched someone if I was sitting next to that all game. I remember this fat ass lady 3 seats down from me who would yell in a fake ass accent about how all the wild players were her "loves" ughhhh like they'd ever wanna touch her or be near that. They'd pay her to go away probably.
