  1. It’s hard to motivate someone that doesn’t care about the Holy Grail, Stanley Cup. I’ve noticed when season is over of regular play, seems his attention, interest, intensity is not there for post season….IMO….🫡🙏

  2. Looking at it in this light, I am not surprised when an ultra competitive JT Miller kept on calling him out in front of his team mates, didn't help matters. It made it worse. And he probably considered JT a friend and must have felt super betrayed by him, shutting himself out even more.

  3. Pettersson = Hughes leaving = No free agents signing here. End of story! Who in their right mind wants to play with a whiner! I wish him the best with turning everything around, but in the meantime, he's been dragging the team down since last year's all star break. No wonder Boeser wants ludicrous money. Monkey see, monkey do!

  4. How many players sign a big contract and then disappears? Lots. And Pettersson is just another one.

  5. Stop always blaming others ….he doesn’t care about hockey anymore…. He is tonic to the team ..it’s over…face it …

  6. One goal in the last 20 games. JT has six goals and six assists in the last ten games.
That's for all you alien huggers that shat on J.T. until he was traded.

  7. Luckily the pressure from media and fans in Vancouver is low and in no way toxic so he will bounce back quick, am I right?

  8. I get that u trying to update canucks news but 2-3 videos a day bout nothing kills and dilutes your content not sure how u spent 10 minutes talking bout petey wanting to figure it out without sedins help

  9. Ohhh, NOW we know what lego says fast @ end of every vid: " make sure to troll, dislike, and do not subscribe to legorocks99…and…bye! "

  10. Dont care about his confidence or any excuse. He is holding the organization, his teammates and fans hostage every time he steps on the ice.

  11. He started slumping well before his contract. All-Star game was Feb. 3rd and he signed on March 3rd, with the stated hope that having the contract out of the way would relieve pressure. But for those 13 games between the break and his signing, he was already noticeably off. Seems like something happened during the break that he never recovered from, maybe the contract made it harder for him to recover but the problem predated it for sure.

  12. Yikes. Hope that therapy thing is just an unfounded rumour. The stigma is still there with that world, but I mean, it's obvious his problem is between the ears. I've thought many times about what type of schemas he might introduce to deal with all this, and have actively wondered if he's been talking to someone.

  13. Who knows what's really going on, but it's interesting to watch Pettersson 3-4 years ago compared to now, it's like two different people on the ice. Like someone said, he's downfall should be studied, because this ain't normal.

  14. EP40 lost his hockey mojo on March 2, 2024 when he signed the $92.8 million contract with $47 million in signing bonuses.

  15. The REAL reason EP40 can't score anymore is because of bone spurs, a painful condition that once afflicted President Trump.

  16. Look at who was coach when he scored 100 points. Bruce Boudreau. He got the most out of Pettersson because he’s a motivator and confidence builder. Tocchet is a different kind of coach. And it’s not just EP40. Most players need the right coach to thrive. Some are adaptable, but many aren’t. If Pettersson has the wrong coach, he loses his confidence and he’s screwed. My biggest fear is that the Canucks will trade him for nothing with maximum retained plus sweeteners and he’ll end up being a 100 point player elsewhere. The Canucks going back to Cam Neely have a habit of moving guys like that who go on to have great careers with other teams. The Seth Jones trade shows that maybe he’s not entirely untradable, but you’re not getting much back. EP40 is a top 5 defensive forward in the league, but if that’s the case, he should be getting Danault money.
