At least he gets to become the #1 goalie and play more often. When you are backing up Bob, you don't get many chances.
On pretty much any other team, except Tampa, Spencer is a #1.

I can safely say that despite Arvid Soderblom being as skilled as he is, he's better as a trade chip than on the roster. If interested some goalie starved team (Edmonton, Philadelphia) would love him.
