  1. Miller again for the win!! Georgiev looked off for sure…the R's are lucky the Sabres only got 17 shots on goal!

  2. We can't be blowing leads in the playoffs! It was a good game, sabres gave us fits, but we have a lot of depth and it shows GO RANGERS!!

  3. Could the Rangers send a bouquet of flowers to my 41 year old Goaler, Craig Anderson, who gifted this win to the Rangers. By far his worst game this year – what a sieve!

  4. I cannot believe how BAD a product the NHL has become. The game has zero flow. The players are too big and fast for the ice. Please do something!

  5. definitely a little shaky but finding the way to win is a sign of a good team. lets make a run

  6. Great positioning by Asplund on the first Sabres goal; you can see him dynamically adjusting his position around the net based on the goalie's position as well as swinging the puck around the point shooters, which is a level of IQ that has not been seen in the NHL previously, which also means that previously this would not have been a goal. Slight pause as well to wait for the goalie's glove to brush by, kind of like when NBA 3 point shooters stutter a step and let the block attempt whiz by them before they actually shoot, again haven't seen this before in the NHL; the reaction time displayed there is also very low, indicating that improvement has been made in reaction time as the player got older, with the only possible explanatory mechanism being coaching / pedagogy. All of these are worthy directions of scientific research.

  7. HOORAY!!!! For the first time since 1976, the Rangers are leading the all-time rivalry against the Sabres, 86-85 (plus old ties) if you count the one-point tie/losses as losses (as they should be). Forty -six years of an Original Six team trailing an expansion franchise was too long. From the birth of the Sabres in 1970, NY owned them 10-0-2 but in the Fall of 1972, Buffalo, through great drafting, turned the series on its head, winning four games in November and December on their way to a 17-4-4 stretch into 1977. There was a three-year stretch (1974-1977) when the Ranger didn't get a single win over the Sabres (0-8-4) as NY declined while Buffalo became a Stanley Cup contender. The French Connection somehow made the Blueshirts choke up season after season. At one time, Buffalo lead NY 68-49, meaning the Rangers have dominated them 37-17 since. The universe is back in its proper order!!!
