Two comments: First, none of this is on McLellan. He was a good coach during the two streaks and still is. Second, I'm becoming disenchanted with Larkin- his inconsistent play and body language in game and during interviews. He looks less like a leader all the time and more like a 10 year old whose dog just died.
And Steve will not make a single move and we will look at the same crap we have been. Like I said yesterday I think a new GM is in order. He won’t stand up to Illitch and won’t make a move this team is terrible and very very soft

Just seems like a lot of guys on this roster who are middling players who don’t do much, mixed in with young guys who are developing well, but just don’t have enough experience yet. 4 goals on 15 shots compared to 2 goals on 34 shots was atrocious.
6:34 even the draft isn’t our Stanley cup cause we’ve gotten screwed in the lottery damn near every year of this rebuild. Meanwhile it seems like Buffalo and Edmonton had like 10 first overall picks throughout the 2000s and 2010s lol.
Totally get the frustration here. For me, the biggest reason I'm frustrated is because this team IS capable of winning these types of games and getting into the playoffs. You don't go on 2 consecutive 7 game winning streaks, beating some of the top teams in the league, if you're not a team capable of at least a wild card position. We were literally 4 points away from 3rd in the Atlantic prior to this losing streak. That's a team that CAN get it done. So it gets frustrating when they're not. They all say they know what they need to do to correct it, but then apparently they're just not doing it. Why???
