Domi plays small and is a non factor for a 3rd liner. Robertson works his ass off, but he is tiny for a 3rd liner. If we can't get a Dman to make a difference, I would like for them to get tw0 3rd liners and move McMann to 2nd line.

On the reason the Leafs don't sell the house to make the big trades, is they need to keep the share holders happy. Make them believe the team will remain competitive in the future.

Love the show but you guys need to stop with the fake trades giving Minton and Cowan away and enough with the rentals already.
Matthews thinks the GM should bolster the team? Seriously. This so called super star has continually gone stealth mode during playoffs and he thinks the team management should help the team get better.
Someone needs to tell Matthews in the history of the NHL there has been no one who has been called a super star who comes up empty in the playoffs as many times as he has. I know he's hurt this year but the team would have been better off if he took the necessary time off in September and been healthier now than the way he's going.

Did Sammy forget about the leafs blanking the Vegas Golden Knights 3-0 in November? To say there's a big gap between the two teams is a bad take. Heck, the Buds are one point behind them in the league standings.
If the Leafs ever want to win another cup they need to repair the relationship with the fanbase. They should use the media to sometimes say things to the fanbase. There is no connection with the fanbase. And saying "we have the best fans" is the worst thing to do bc it comes off artificial. The root of the problem is that relationship.
Are they a cup contender? Not sure but Florida won and I don't believe they are close to being the top 3 in league…hence but they make it to cup final twice in a row but thats supposed to be so tough to do. The league needs to make things more fair man. Its a joke right now.

Why not Knies at center?
There wasn't much the leafs could realistically do other than what they did. They got a big Dman, check. They got a good third line forward, check. Now they just gotta get themselves in the group and play hockey. They have the best forward group in the eastern conference. It was always the size on the backend, and they addressed the position. They have goaltending either guy will do. My guy is the woll but stolarz is just as good. Let's rock and roll. Peace ✌️ 😎.
