  1. Not the biggest Dubas fan, but he has schooled Trotz this year. Between getting Tomasino for a future (2027) 4th rounder … getting Glass and a 3rd and 6th rounder … and now trading a 4th for Schenn (if you consider Bunting was traded for Novak) to then flip him for a 2nd and a 4th. Unless I'm forgetting something, the Pens-Predators trade summary this season looks like this:
Predators get: Bunting, 2026 4th round pick, 2027 4th round pick
Pens get: Novak, Tomasino, Glass, 2026 2nd round pick, 2025 3rd round pick, 2027 4th round pick, 2026 6th round pick

  2. A 2nd round pick for a 35 year old? I like it. Well done Dubas. I hope the Pens are still looking for defenseman though?

  3. You aren't ever going to get Ron Francis and Ulf Samuelsson for John Cullen and a case of Pepsi like the Pens did in 1991.

Build up the draft picks and things can turn in 2 or 3 years.

  4. draft picks mean NOTHING as long as the same people are picking the players drafted ! they are grossly incompetent when we see some young players thriving in the NHL who were passed over by the pens that tells you all you need to know ! down on the farm (wilkes barre ) that team is devoid of NHL talent and painful to watch ! new talent evaluaters are absolutely needed before the next draft !

  5. if the pens have letang, malkin , and karlson comming back next year in prominant roles that team is going nowhere
