I've never been so indifferent on this team. Love Lindy, but he doesn't deserve the lame efforts. KA is now at the helm and oversaw of half of the drought years. I don't see the plan, we've blown through top prospects, 1st rounders, and retreads. I feel beaten.
Adams better be gone when this season ends.
I think he's right about Cozens after the fight , but I also thought the pressure of the big extension got to him too.
Trades seem understandable. Not sure what the big deal is for those complaining. They also signed Zucker for two more years. Cozens was struggling for two years now. He needed a change. Got a solid 200 ft. player back. D trades seem ok.
Color me skeptical.
1. When it comes to improving the Sabres, Kevyn Adams has a 5 year PROVEN UNtrustworthy, UNreliable, and INeffective track record as GM.
2. The major piece of the trade coming to the Sabres is slightly OLDER than the major piece we gave up, was drafted 2 years earlier, yet has played in 105 FEWER NHL games.
3. He has MAJOR health and lineup availability issues — THREE major shoulder surgeries already (all on the same shoulder!) … and it's not as if he has a good chance of not experiencing more shoulder injuries going forward given the fact that MOST NFL hits involve the shoulders. As Josh Allen says, the greatest ability to have is AVAILability !!!!!!
4. He costs more $$$ than Cozens.
5. Given all the above, there is NO WAY the Sabres should have ALSO given up a draft pick in the 4 player swap — lt alone a 2nd round pick because that WILL be a high pick given how crappy the Sabres are in the standings
How in the hell can Adams survive this mess? He must go!
Slow down Bulldog. He's not a superstar, he's not far and away better then cozens. Give him a little time in the organization and he will fit in with the rest of the loosers. Tsn has Ottawa winning the trade.

Adams is Pegulas YES man and that's the real issue. Getting rid of Lafontaine was the biggest mistake and the franchise has been in the gutter ever since.
Cozens hasn't been the same since being passed over for the captaincy. Face getting crushed didn't help, but don't feel bad. He'll be a Conn Smythe winner soon enough!
