It was obvious that he was pissed that he got traded to Carolina, he probably tanked on purpose and knew he was never going to stay there long term. You could see the same thing last year when they traded for Guentzel in the way he acted but at least he still played his best and produced during his short time there instead of acting like a big pouty baby like Mikko.

How awful did Rantanen feel in Carolina to literally take any other team over them, its not like he could pick the team they would trade him to, he had to accept whatever team, that's crazy.
