Hate to say I told you so ha. Crazy how this season is mirroring last season. Losing to all the same teams as well. Ullmark was great but god this teams inability to score 5 on 5 is embarrassing……..but people still tell me this is a great roster haha. Also WTH was Talbot doing on that second Sens goal? May as well tank and get the best draft pick possible. Shame as that was a great game of hockey that had everything.

Wow it's crazy when every other team improves and your GM sits on his butt and does nothing while every team your competing against spends the money to bring in high caliber players but Yzerfart doesnt want to pay for the high caliber players but EVERY OTHER TEAM is willing to pay for the superstars but YZERFART WANTS TO SIT ON HIS BUM ASS AND DO NOTHING.

No identity. Lack of mental toughness and mistakes at crucial moments. What an absolutely stupid penalty for Seider to take at a crucial moment. He gets paid $8.5 million, but can't use his head at critical moments. He cost them the season. Call me when Yzerman is fired. They're not going anywhere until he is.
Kane Kasper DeBrincat were the only line playing 200ft all night. Every other shift they had takeaways in the offensive zone with great chances. Kane’s vision is insane especially on the PP, unfortunately we couldn’t bury it. Can’t put your team’s entire ability to score on one guys PP skill, obviously. Playoffs are out of the picture, this will be Stevie’s make or break offseason. If he keeps signing geriatric free agents instead of bringing up our drafts picks, this franchise will not turn around. Yzerplan is chasing the future and can’t seem to bring it into the present.
Seider is worrying me. He’s hasn’t shown any significant improvemnt since rookie year. When we allow short handed goals it’s because he gets burned. His penalty kill skills are not great and contributes by far the least on the power play. Not to mention he js a minus player most night than plus. He hits People hard, that’s great but so can any other middle pair defence. Will he ever hit 50 points again? Will he ever be close to a plus player? Is he ever going to play up to his contract?

Kane looked great tonight. We got Goalied hard and super frustrating against this particular team which I absolutely loathe. Larkin played ok but not great on the faceoffs. Overall this team hasn't been very fun to watch since 4 nations. San Jose has been more fun to watch.

My goodness y’all are a sad bunch. We got goalied and our PK failed us on the second goal. Great effort from the boys. Cat’s best game of the year and he didn’t even score a goal. Need to carry that effort into the next one. Despite the loss, hard to be upset with that one. Ullmark with the performance of his career. GG

when Kane and Cat were on the ice, the Red Wings led Ottawa 22-1 in shots on goal. 13-1 at 5v5. them not being given Larkin will cost the Wings the playoffs for the 2nd straight season. my fave was that power play in the 2nd where Kane skated around the o-zone 4 times, set up a grade A chance, kept skating, retrieved the puck, skated around again to set up another, retrieved the puck…
