I have been a fan of hockey since I was 10 years old going to my first game ever in 1986. Hartford Whalers v the Montreal Canadiens. Didn’t see Gretzky in HFD until I saw him as a member of the Kings. To now witness someone ve on the verge of breaking his goals record is incredible. Akin to Smith passing Payton. Ripken passing Gehrig. Timeless records being broken. Sad to see one of these records broken but proud to be able to witness it. Come on, Ovi, do it!

Mann i remember so many of these. What a fun energetic guy to watch. Still going and I enjoy watching him play, but there is a part of me who misses watching him back in his days of explosive speed through the defence diving/doing whatever he could to will the puck into the net.
