I don't know. Biz was the dude who reported all of the untrue Swayman camp stuff during that negotiation as true right? I think he's proven to be pretty unreliable. Plus Brad roasted him a couple of times recently during interviews. Brad expecting a raise at this point of his career just doesn't make any sense.

After last nights game you decide….which again we had a big big win and it is not being discussed here which is extremely disappointing.
I like most am heartbroken he is gone. However, he is not worth more than he is making now. We have to be realistic about paying a 37 year old 7 million.

If the bruins weren’t willing to give Marchand that deal, after pay cuts, after everything he’s done for this team. “Not happy with his production” ??? Second best producer on team as captain and oldest guy, gave Chara 4-5 years of poor play? Gave bergeron what he wanted, marchy absolutely deserves the same respect as those guys. 3 years @ 6.85 mil is more than fair for what Marchand has given to this organization. Absolutely gutless move by the management. Would expect nothing less.
Good job trying to win the Cup by trading away goal scorers years after year. The defense is under tons of pressure because the team doesn't score, excluding Pasta. If he gets 4 a game , no problem.
