I was calling for Carlo, no complaints from me on that front. Not the biggest fan on the Laughton move. Not even because I don’t like Laughton, I just don’t like him at 3 C. On the wing I think he’s a nice lil addition. Obviously the price was too high for a guy like Nelson (that would have had to of been a rental.) Kyper has a point…. What alternatives? Hope tanev is back soon. AC joint injuries are awful, I had a similar injury in minor hockey. Same thing, unassuming hit and suddenly I could barely lift or lower my shoulder. Basically nothing you can do for recovery other than rest

Florida being the dump&chase masters shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who watched the playoffs last year, thats how they won. It's such a luxury when you can just throw the puck in the other guys' end and be fairly confident you'll either get it or stop them in the neutral zone and try again. Their forechecking is beautiful to watch. In the -23 playoffs when Tkachuk and Luostarinen went down their forecheck game died and they were dead in the water.
