Statements like that, and being willing to stick up for a struggling team mate who's putting in the effort, but having issues and being able to find the ways to get the best out of his team mates is why Quinn Hughes is the team Captain, and that's the mark of a true leader that he's willing and able to do that. Quinn is a pure class act all the way.
Hughes > Makar every day
It's like we as fans need to put hate on Petterson for him to play better and to look for his teammates for support. Hey, if that works, he's a no good bum on the team.
We need to get Pettersson elite wingers. Not Debrusk and Boeser, or Garland and Joshua. He needs someone like Forsberg or Laine. Someone he can feed the puck to who will score.
The comments he made about the media being annoying wasn’t taken badly by the fans. It was taken badly by the media in Vancouver. The media in Vancouver sucks outside of Donnie and Dhali
Boeser to Rangers for Lefreniere plus
Getting rid of Miller was right move. Petterson and Hughes is the center of possible Cup team core.
Miller just an ***hole and will make Rags even worse.
I love Petey
I've been a Petey supporter/defender all season and have gotten all kinds of crap thrown my way as a result.
I've had tendonitis. It took close to 2 years to completely go away. I know what it's like.
Players who get to his level aren't the type to get a big contract and then just coast. Players who get to that level have a drive to be the best and win, that's how they get there. Natural talent only gets you so far. This kid has been a winner at every level and probably has dreamed of winning the cup his entire life. There's no way he's a quitter.
A couple of months ago, I wrote this season off. I still pretty much have and am thinking of next year already. We shored up our D pretty well, but lost some offense. Fill some of those holes and we are a playoff team next year.
Pettersson has started to show signs of life on the ice and team
Petey, has awesome sight for nice passes, but he needs to use those eyes for a fake pass and just shoot it. Blocked, saved or goal all that matters is send the puck to the net. Canucks have no luck on bounces this year it seems. But the reason for that is not enough pucks towards the net. Just need 1to3 lucky bounces. More shoots to the net more chances to get 1 of those 3 lucky bounces.
