I think we overplayed a little for Nelson and coyle. I’m a little worried for future it’s really cup or bust for the next few years
Why are we collecting old dudes? Why are we in win now mode? We just won a cup 3 years ago. Coyle eats lead based paint chips. What kind of CENTER already has 18 PIM on a season??? Mittsie was a play maker. Not every forward needs to he judged by their goals.
And EJ? OK, thats a feel good story at best. What problem does he solve other than fans being mad about Mikko being somewhat placated?

This team is in trouble.
They only have 8 million in cap and no 2nd line center no 2nd line winger signed.
If they trade manson and colton then they will have about 17 million.
Coyle kelly drury LOC are only players signed for next year.
In bottom six if they trade colton.
Toews makar girard middleton are only signed defense.
They shouls try and resign drouin lindgren malinski(cheap) and get bennett as 2nd line center.
Where did it go wrong with Mittelstadt? Was there something that management didn’t know? Did he just not fit into the system? Seems like he got into Bednar’s doghouse and couldn’t recover.
I hope Coach Bednar had a big hand in the acquisitions.

im an ave's fan and like the trades, im also an avid hunter and a fisherman. i never head out onto the water or into the woods saying im going to win it all. the aves have been good this year, but they better dig deep and improve every week if they are hoping to take it all the way, i hope they can stay humble and focused its going to be fun to watch. go aves!!!

Let's Fing GO! I hadn't given up on Casey but you couldn't pass this up. Nate,Nelson,Coyle,& Drury-JUST TRY TO MATCH THAT CENTER DEPTH! And other than Nate-they all are plus or better DEFFENDERS! Gonna see a lot of Nelson AND Coyle lines Mico if we play ya,& they aren't gonna be fun to play against. And as good as WPG & Dallas are-both still have gaping holes. Dallas is still weak on defense & WPG didn't address 2C. Another awesome part of getting Nelson is keeping him away from WPG,& Minnesota.
Just when I get down on Avs management, they do this all pro crap. Can they take over management of the Nuggets as well?
