  1. Carlo has been a pylon and Laughton hasn’t been good . I hope it’s just because of the new team and all the big adjustments. We need tanev back in the worst way.

  2. They still have that lets score another goal priority instead of making smart offensive and defensive plays when they are up multiple goals.

  3. Could it be that they blew their entire salary cap on a small handful of strictly offensive players and have zero competent defenders?

  4. I hope ppl understand now how important tanev is and why I've been raving about him on the blueline and how much better he makes the team and people told me it not just him its McCabe …

  5. The Leafs ARE in big trouble !
Btw : is this a video from last year ? Bad defence …blown leads … We’ve heard it all before. 😒

  6. simple math: Addition by subtraction…bench Rielly, his lazy, sloppy play is infectious.

  7. Marner leaving leaves, soon….Panthers going to whup on on them come Playoffs..

  8. The Leafs D looks like the keystone cops most times. Disorganized and throwing blind pucls behind them up the boards. 90 percent of the time the opposing D is waiting.

  9. They’ve been trying to find a partner for Reilly for the last decade…time to move on. He wins zero battles, doesn’t block shots, doesn’t take a man, doesn’t hit anyone, and his offensive production is down. Experiment over.

  10. I am a Leaf fan. They will lose all three games to Florida. That's just how this edition of the Leaf's rolls.

  11. Chris Tanev will be 36 years old later this year. Let that sink in, in terms of what they're asking him to do.

  12. Leafs were there best before Mathew got back forward help clear puck and bought into defensive play waiting for opportunity now 1 and 4 lines are the only one who help in there own end

  13. The Leafs’ over-reliance on Chris Tanev has reared its ugly head over and over again following the 4 Nations tourney despite which the Leafs so far have picked up standings points in all but 2 games. That said, I don’t see the Leafs going far this postseason with the roster they’ve constructed, and hopefully that will mean that Mitch Marner and John Tavares will this offseason become unrestricted free agents, and the Leafs will have more cap space to add more Chris Tanev types to the roster at a time when they could desperately use more of those types of defensemen.

  14. It's towards the end of the season gentlemen, the playoffs occur after the regular season. Let that sink in for a minute and then tell me if you'd be nervous if you were a leaf!
A big part of this is mental and I'm convinced of it. Believe me they've tried rotating in new players before, all that did was infect a new batch of Leaf's there by strengthening the problem. At this point I'd have more faith in a psychiatric solution over a small handful of new superstars. I think Dr. Phil would even fit under the salary cap for heavens sake. Paint the dressing room a different color—anything different at this point! Just don't recycle the same ideas and pray for a different result. Honestly, been there, done that, got the tee shirt.
