The Vegas 2 defenders next to the puck up by the Vegas blue line who both froze instead of one of them extending themselves to poke the puck out of the zone and led to the Sabres tying goal was not good either. Then there is the shootout choices. Echel and Dorofeyev while may be good scoring in games they have proven themselves NOT GOOD in shootouts. Saad and Howden would had been better choices and most likely one of those 2 would had scored.
A must win for sabers if they have to make a strong if not impossible push for a wild card spot….
Hertl really pulled a Patrick Stefan today. What a horrible decision not to put the puck into the empty net to seal the win in regulation. I’m sure he’s beating himself up though after that. Petro with a gift also on the second Sabre goal. One to forget for Vegas and move on.

That was a sad game to watch especially in O.T. the knights were just practically skating around aimlessly and couldn't even figure what plays to make. Hertl unsuccessfully passes the puck back without looking instead of netting it when Buffalo had lots of time to score. Stupidity on his part to say the least. Vegas needs to get rid of Hill before the playoffs. His performance was way off the rails. Sure hope this will gear them up for tomorrow's game
