What a joke, a skate blade falls out every game. Bad look for the skate companies I’d say.
Thats nothing, I once made a save that split my blade in half late first period as a goalie and still managed to finish the game and win (in beer league) lol

Is it just the fact that I’m watching all the highlights this year or does it seem like there’s a ton of these broken blades this year? Especially recently.
ever since skates started using the quick release mechanism this started happening a lot. look at McDavid and Crosby's skates their steel is bolted on like the old school skates
