  1. Gallant is not too happy about this game. He's not calling them out, BUT he's calling for effort. I suspect tonite's Bruins game will be a dose of BUBBLE guys, like Schneider, Nils, Jones. Panjeuem, Hunt, Gauthier, Barron,.
Chytill, Miller, took a step back, as did Krieder, Jones, IMO outplayed Nils, Miller was his usual positioning, and point man breakaway disaster from last year. Miller still looks softer than My Pillow, never takes the body with ANY authority, and is constantly behind the onrushing forwards, Chytil was the Invisible Man. Contrary to his own desire to be a Center, He took very few faceoffs, with Goodrow, doing that. Krieds won most of the PP faceoffs. I didn't see anyone who deserves a C on their shirts out there.

  2. trouba and miller did not have their best game, both minus 4. trouba turned the puck over more times than i can count and didnt look comfortable with the puck. hope they turn it around soon

  3. Gallant may not be able to make up for how poorly run the Rangers are behind the expensive PR. Always remember that the Rangers chose not to move on from Kreider, knowing it would mean someone else wouldn't be kept, and signed him to a 6 year, 6.5 million per deal, which essentially was why they had to move on from Buchnevich, who signed for less that Kreider with the Blues and will outscore Kreids by wide margins over the next 6 years.

The Rangers make horrible personnel decisions. Always put their money on the wrong guys, always double down on their mistakes. They are going to do it again with Trouba. Trouba is not an 8 mil per defenseman, and because he is a business mistake, they will make him captain as a PR move to pretend they actually think he is great. I thought this policy would end with Gorton, who consistently forced young players into NHL who were acquired in trades who needed time in Hartford, as "proof" they were a good decision. I mean look at how many NHL games they have!

Just awful. Maybe when Laf and Fox are 28 and the only remaining members of THIS group, the Rangers will finally get that lightning in a bottle.
