  1. After hearing that Rantanen's Agent, is the same as Harley and Johnston's and with Rantanen being a Fin, it was something he must have really wanted, coming to play for the Stars. Sad to lose Stank, but hopefully, he'll get more ice time with the Canes. Thanks Ryan for being so great about sharing your thoughts on Stank. I totally agree with you about Stank, his whole family are pretty awesome, and he's been a leader where ever he has played, this new level is something he's learning to adjust and grow into. He has an awesome work ethic, determination and good hockey smarts! I hope Stank keeps growing and shines as he has at the previous hockey levels he's been through. Bitter Sweet for sure! Listened to the Cane's GM and they definitely wanted Stank, it's a huge complement for the young man. It'll be great to get Hintz, Miro and Tyler back soon too. Stars will only get stronger and have an awesome run at the Cup.

  2. When I heard Walman went to Edmonton I was definitely wondering why we didn’t go after him. He seemed very good for them. Thoughts?

  3. In regards to a defenseman, no there wasn't any needle movers. And quite frankly, I like our blue liners, I don't think they get enough credit. Even Dumba for all the crap we give him, he has some small flash plays here and there and he stands up for our guys more than anyone on the team.

  4. Adding more scoring punch is always a great thing however, not adding another shutdown defenseman tells me the Stars actually have very little chance to win a cup with this lineup. If Dallas faces Colorado in the first round, I would not be at all surprised if the Stars are unable to advance beyond the Avs. I hope I'm wrong…

  5. Why does nobody talk about Thomas Harley being born in Syracuse NY? I heard he grew up there too? Why the maple leaf bruh.

  6. The other team was threatening to score on Dallas. They had the Stars in a frenzy to keep the puck out of the net. At the end of the play, Rantanen was laying flat on the ice and getting up from playing intense defense. He was giving his best.

  7. I want us to have a conversation regardless of how deep we go this year with the cap being where it is is it possible Robo is a cap casualty trade this summer in order to get a right D man?

  8. I didn't like losing stank but I get it.

Colorado fans supposedly claiming to hate Miko right now makes no sense. He wanted to maximize his value and the GM side otherwise and forced a trade instead. He didn't talk any crap about the franchise or the team and has been nothing but complimentary about that organization. Hating a guy for wanting to make the most money and what was agreed to be basically his market worth is stupid.

He signed a contract essentially the same as what they offered after the fact because multiple trades including one only a few weeks after the first one, does have a somewhat negative effect on value. He didn't take the same deal because he wanted to be a star and not at Colorado still. He took the deal because that was one of the teams he would still play for and that was the team that had his contract
