I will personally buy Allen a steak dinner for that performance! They cannot continue to play like that in the 3rd moving forward. I get CBJ was literally playing for their season but there's no excuse to sit back. LGD !!

Allen should be getting 3 out of the next 5 in my opinion. Markstrom may just be a bit out of shape after coming back from 1.5 months off. But Allen has been really really good.

GOALIED!! Very very happy for Jake. He's a damn good goalie and I feel like the fans were needlessly shitting on him in the first half of the season. Hoping he gets his record on the positive side by the end of the season. TIMO BABY! That's a Timo goal if I ever saw one. I'm with you in the fan club, Ace! I think those last 16.4 seconds were the most stressful of the whole season. A dub is a dub is a dub. Onslaught is the perfect word. It was ugly but we came through it and YES. Why not us?!
Just rewatched this latest “game of the season” and what a treat. Allen and structured play gives the boys a chance in any game. Timo played an absolutely great game, should have had the hatter but he gets credit on Bratter goal because he absolutely shook the goalie smashing into him on his goal. What a treat. I’ll take 2-1 wins over anything else all day long. That shift by merc, Tatar and palat at the end was an absolute clinic in puck killing. Had to rewind and watch it again 8 times so far. Just perfect.

Jake Allen flat out stole that game. CBJ had more shots in the 3rd than we had in the entire game. Glad to see Bratt is still on 🔥& carrying the team offensively. Timo time still going strong 💪 for the month of March. The boys came thru for my son’s 19th birthday 🎁

Crazy how this roller coaster has been. Thinking we’re cup contenders in the beginning of the season, then the massive falloff post Christmas to trade deadline, writing the season off with 3 top guys out and Marky being shaky and the deals that were made only for Cody Glass to surprise all of us and now winning 4 of the last 5 with playoff hopes still alive. Oh, Mrs. Fields too!

I think some of Luke's turnovers come from the team needing him to be an offensive minded defenseman. You have to be creative to score, and sometimes risk-taking is part of the equation. Guys like McDavid and Mckinnon are usually near the top of the turnover category list because they have the puck on their sticks a lot, and they take chances.
I was pretty disappointed by that third period and I still am but I have a bit of a new perspective on it today. The Devils have been slumping for months at this point and thats not just gonna fix itself in one 3 game winning streak. The reality is they're probably going to spend the rest of the season fixing that. Hockey is a weird sport, get the wins, you start feeling better and sometimes things just fall into place. The year this reminds me of is 05-06, iirc the team that year was not great for big chunks of it, but they pulled off a 10 game winning streak in the last ten games and went on to dominantly sweep the Rangers in the first round. This team has a run in them, and I believe they're going to put it all together in the home stretch here. AS ALWAYS LETS FUCKING GO DEVILS!

We were really fighting in the trenches that 3rd period. Jake Allen really stole the game for us…45 saves out of 46 shots? That's a .978 save percentage. That performance really needs to motivate the boys to turn on the jets and play better. They need to start coming out like the Hansen Brothers for the rest of the season..
