All of this maneuvering will accomplish nothing. Sweeney buried himself when he signed a mediocre goalie to a major contract. Hopefully a high end goalie will emerge from the minors.

At this point, nobody cares. This year the Bruins suck ass and swallow. They play worse than a high-school team.
At this point bring up the kids, sit those who are not producing. The worst thing that can happen is a better draft pick……which the powers that be will screw up.
I feel like the defense injuries are a big reason why the team is struggling so much but Jay Leach is the defense core coach. Isn't he the person mostly responsible in getting the current defense core ready from game to game? How is it that they keep making the same mistakes day to day. They play too soft on the blue line and in front of the net giving up far too much space. Seems like there is a real need to revamp the defense structure.
