Shannon , something must be wrong with your camera , I couldn't see the hat you mentioned
90 point nick suzuki , woooooooooooo
Suzuki is the most underrated player in the NHL (Unless you're a Habs fan).
The offer sheet boys(Hollywood and Broberg) have been playing great. Broberg was killing it before he missed 12 games with an injury early on in the season. Happy to have them on the squad! #LGB
Just started the video. Calling it now, Marco Kasper is the Wings pick.
Fantilli has really stepped up to be the Jackets top center when Monahan injured his wrist, even staying there when Jenner returned. The one thing I liked in this video is that it wasn't the biggest names chosen from most teams.
Always a good indicator when players improve as a season progresses.
Jarvis is a GREAT two way player! He kills penalties and scores short handed goals. He plays the power play! He plays 200 feet every game! He doesn't take many penalties! Svechnikov hurts the team too many times with his stupid penalties. The team hasn't missed him since getting injured. That says a lot.
Don't know why but quite a few Habs fans can't help questioning Suzuki 1C status while he keeps delivering the goods and accepted a contract that already feels like a bargain. I guess everyone wants a MacKinnon or a McDavid in their team even though it doesn't guarantee you a Stanley Cup.
Tron Legacy is a good movie! Cool jersey!
I tend to agree on your statement about Svechnikov, However, I keep coming back to his age. He's 24. If he can be healthy and find consistency in his game, he should just now be entering his prime.
I was at fault for this after last season thinking that the Canes window is closed or closing, but in reality, it might actually be just starting to open.
Aho is 27, Svech is 24, Jarvis is 23, KK is 24, Blake is 21, Stankoven is 22, Kochetkov is 25. The D is starting to age, with Chatfield being the youngest of the current top 6 at 28 and Slavin at 30, but Morrow looks like he is ready, and if Nikishin turns into what he is projected to be that is still a solid top 4.
They've made the playoffs for consistently and deep at times, yet are still have young core pieces.
Thank You Edmonton.. Lol HollyBerg have been great so far..
I’ll forever be grateful for your content, no hockey creator like you out there.
Svechnikov is perfectly capable of consistently getting 40 goals a season. The problem is that Svechnikov is not a good fit in Brind'Amour's system. Svech's ceiling with the Canes is probably 30 goals a season, but he's going to have to find some consistency before that will happen.
You and my wife agree on your choice of Tron movies. It's hard for me to be unbiased because I grew up watching the original.
For Vegas, you could put Hertl's entire line.
Goncalves is putting the league on notice. When you watch him play his skill blends in with all the rest of the TB top guys. Plus the shootout winner last night
Buffalo… Eichel, Reinhart, O’Rielly, William Carrier, Okposo, Rodrigues. These are just the players that I know have played for Buffalo and moved on to win a cup. Might be something there for a video.
Tron Legacy was fun, underrated for sure.
Tampa’s Concalves was sent down to the AHL briefly earlier in the season. Since coming back up, his play has definitely elevated. He won the shootout for Tampa last night.
As a Kings fan it's frustrating to see PLD doing so well, but at the same time Kuemper is doing amazingly for us, so it's definitely a win/win trade.
Im glad Byfield is getting hot the 2nd half of the season. Last year he started good and faded by years end, lets hope hes reversed that this year.
With PLD, not only has he been playing great hockey this season, he's also completely justified earning that 8.5M paycheck with the way he's playing. He is earning the most money among our forwards after Ovi (excluding Backy because he has been on LTIR), but he is also tasked with the hardest job every game: to hard match against the opposing team top line and shut them down. Him playing his game is crucial to whether we have a chance of winning or not. And by the look of it, he has rarely, if ever, missed a beat so far this season. I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but I, including all the other Caps fans, have been a HUGE fan of PLD's play and working ethics.
Pastrnak has more goals and points than Geekie since January 1st
Thought for sure it would be will smith for the sharks. He’s outpaced every rookie since like Jan 20 I think vs Boston. Kids been on fire lately
Geekie has been great but Since Jan 1st Pasta has like 47 pts surprised hes not up there.
H.G. we agree Svechnikov isn't gonna be the Russian power house he was made out to be. There's times he looks like he'd rather be doing something else.
Weegar is solid, and almost makes up for Huberdeau's first year here, I watched him play against my sens for years living in Ottawa and knew CGY was gonna like him alot.
I feel like He and Andersson are a really good influence on the rest of the younger/ahl reg defensemen that make up the bottom 4 and part of the unexpected success CGY is having this year. Losing Mantha was a big blow to scoring, But Huberdeau is playing more like his 70ish point season baseline, and Wolf and Vladar have been excellent. We may not make a deep run in the playoffs but we certainly wont make it easy for anyone
Ive read some comments online saying that Cozens was a locker room issue for Buffalo? I know nothing about him as a person, but he seems to be fitting in well with OTT and i wish Norris the best in Buffalo but i think it was a shrewd and smart move by Staios given Norris' injury history. I know Cozens got clobbered in a fight and Buffalo fans echo the same sentiment about him, hes a shell of his former self, but hopefully Norris can stay healthy and contribute in Buffalo, and I'm pretty happy with Cozens so far
Caps are just so good, could’ve went with Protas as well. He’s been a star over the past couple months
28:15 Crosby is also set to break the record for number of consecutive ppg seasons (which Gretzky holds currently) this year
Love Jesper Bratt. Honorable mention to Jake Allen
tron legacy hockey jersey is perfect
Dorofeyev for Vegas 🏒
Tron Legacy is legit. Very underrated
Great Video/Topic, Shannon.
I've guessed some of them. Chicago with Donato & Ottawa with Cozens are only 2 of them that I got right.
I agree with you, that PLD does not have The Pressure that he had in The Other Places. I am only concerned that they'll be another conflict issue. Let me know what you think (I am especially concerned due to his wanting to play with The Montreal Canadiens).
Hertl got another hat trick tonight!!
