  1. Love the flyers I just think that when you strip it down like they are it makes it harder to evaluate pieces that you do have. An example is Drysdale. You have to wonder how he would be performing on a team that has more talent. In my mind this pertains to a lot of players that they have at the moment.

  2. I hate to say it but at this point I know we ain’t making the playoffs so I kinda want us to lose for the tank (which I hate) as long as michkov is still putting up points but it’s a sad truth it’s come to this and I know they ain’t tanking on purpose torts hates it

  3. Another brutal effort last night. So hard to watch. I always doubt that the draft will be of much help, based on previous picks like Patrick, Gauthier, Sittler etc. The 5:31 Flyers draft luck is almost as bad as their goalie luck. Here’s hoping that they pick a few winners this June. Also hope you’re feeling better!

  4. Jason I know u love Torts but this guy has to go. The fact he has refused to fire Thompson is a joke.

  5. This summer is the time to start building the new team.
Can York has been playing like crap and shame on him.
Back to basics Flyers and play hard.
    LETS GO FLYERS !! !!!
I hope you are feeling well Jason.🙏🙏🙏

  6. I don’t give up hope until the last possible minute during seasons. Because I also feel icky cheering for them to lose when I watch. So I decide to not watch at the end and just hope they lost when I check after. Makes the season tickets difficult.

  7. 100000000000% love you and agree with you. It's like you read my mind without knowing my thinking of the team. BECAUSE YOU'RE REALISTIC AND HONEST. JASON MYRTETUS RAW AND REAL! Rest up, my man. Sending you power and strength! #LetsGoFlyers

  8. Torts has always been selective with his accountability act.
If he likes you, you can do no wrong, if he doesn't like you, you will be punished.
Perfect example, Seeler was lazy AF on that bad line change, did he sit? Of course not, Torts likes him.
And i agree with sitting York but my point still stands.
    Torts out.

  9. Thanks for keeping it real Jason. You sound great even though the news you deliver is not😊. Tough to watch right now but we will press on. Keep grinding!

  10. Let me give a perfect example of what the Flyers are.

In Easton, PA, there is an old abandoned Dixie Cup Factory. It is a complete shell of its old self when it was cranking out Dixie Cups and employed thousands of people. Been empty and abandoned since the early 1990s. It is an impressive site; it sits about 6 stories high, has a good location near the highway, near a good school, not far from downtown Easton and not in the rundown part of Easton. The factory has a lot of potential. It could be turned into apartments, housing, and retail. Developers often have plans, but they always fall through, and the factory sits abandoned like it has been for the last 30 years with no progress. The bottom line is that in 30 years, the factory is still going to be abandoned because the development is never going to happen. The site is toxic, just like the Flyers. Hextal, Fletcher, and Berrie, all have grand plans, but it never amount to anything and it never will.

The “New Era of Orange”, what a crock of shit. So enjoy the rest of this Flyers, or as I like to call them Dixie Cups, season and just think better days are ahead. Yea right.

The smartest man in hockey, Cutter Gauthier.

    Get will, Cancer sucks.

  11. Spot on Jason! Thank you for your candidness and a good amount of Flyers fans out there need to hear it. I would not extend York if I was Briere. He has trade value and I would use it this summer.

  12. accountability what a joke. Where's the accountability for a powerplay thats gotten shittier over the last 3 f#$kin years

  13. Hey Jason, I agree with most of what you said. But I’ll disagree with you in regards to this team holds everyone accountable. They simply do not. You can see it with how they hold some players accountable while others are not. Along with not holding rocky accountable.

  14. Thanks for the great analysis. Seems like you have more energy. As hard as it to watch, I feel that decisions have been made this year that will turn the corner. It will be a long summer.

  15. My problem is the coach refuses to have accountability for his terrible decisions and actions. Benching coots- sends assistant coach’s to answer questions. Refuses to answer during post game. Suspended for Tampa game – I’m not talking about it. Continue to act like Petulant child after losses. Player benching hurting the rest of the team not the player benched. Torts-not talking about it. “I’m not interested in coaching this type of team right now but I gotta do better” brother that’s your job!

  16. Rebuild starts after this year. And then we have to wait another five years. We don’t have the right people in the front office.

  17. Rebuild starts after this year. And then we have to wait another five years. We don’t have the right people in the front office. They’re backfilling with average players. That’s not helping.

  18. What management is saying is great how they are approaching it is great, but do you really believe that the inexperienced people that they put in those positions can get it done in a reasonable timeframe. This started three years ago. Management is learning their jobs as they go. That’s not a recipe for success. not in the short term. On the jobTraining is not what we need.

  19. Is it me or is it time to 1) Figure out a way to get much more out of Couturier and Sanheim or 2) Figure out the least painful way to move on from them? I rarely see either of these guys doing anything special or worthy being considered "core guys." To me "core guys" need to make significant impacts more nights than not and I don't think they (unlike TK) instill fear in any opponent.

  20. This season and team has made me so damn depressed. Tired of all the excuses. Season has been over for awhile. As a 60 year old life long flyers fan i can't take another year of this.

  21. Leafs fan here. You guys will love Grebenkin. He competes, he fights and he is a character. I did not want to lose this player. Good luck boys.

  22. Thanks for explaining stuff to us! We appreciate it. Keeping good thoughts for you

  23. Interesting to see if Briere has the stones to be active at the Draft. Team has so many holes to fill including a PP QB to shoot and run the point.
