I dont know what 1st period you guys watched? But ive been cheering for Leafs and watching them since 1967, when i was 5yrs old. So i think i kinda know when they are being outplayed. They were the better team for the 1st and 3rd periods. NOT.., "bailed out by Stolarz for 2 periods and then big guys took over."
And NO Carlo didn't get smoked. Yeah he took more good shots straight on… only because he can, and because buddy wasnt hurting him at all! If Malot had any power at all… one of his straight on punches should have put Carlo down! AND, If you watch Malot's head get thrown to his right a couple of times… you would understand those were power punches by Carlo, that rocked him!
And Sammy… c'mon man… the ref is waving his arms FRANTICALLY to indicate AM's stick wasnt high on the play, and hes standing right f'n beside him! But you're positive its a high stick, watching bad camera angles, from over a thousand miles away?! Bad call!
