  1. Trying to hurt someone when the game is all but over. People saying "play till the whistle." I hear you. I do. But lets be real. They are down by 2 goals, with about 1.3 seconds remaining. Can you assume that they are not scoring 2 goals in the final 1.3 seconds? Is it safe to assume that?

If yes; Then it's a dumb move, and by answering yes, you pretty much just broke your own "play to the whistle" logic by acknowledging the game was over.
If no; Then frankly you're just wrong. No team has ever come back after being down by 2 goals with less than 2 seconds on the clock.

  2. Go Habs Go… they may not make it.. but they’re trending up over the year compared to last few…

  3. The Bell center is going to be the 7th man on the ice so to speak – there will be real nastiness from the crowd towards the Panthers PARTICULARLY because Brad Marchand is also on the team and he's got history with the Habs too – many reasons for the Bell center to be even more vocal than usual….

  4. It was a dick move but what rule did he break? I wouldn’t do it. He broke code but not an official rule. I wouldn’t fine or suspend him. I’d let the players make him pay the price for breaking code. No rule saying you can’t shoot from any part of the ice with any specific time on the clock. Maybe he gets lucky and it goes in the net. Maybe he gets a bonus for a certain number of goals in a season and he is close to the bonus. Maybe he frustrated or just a dick move. No rule broken so no fine or suspension from me. I would let the players police the game in this situation.

  5. Pezzeta will flatten him at the right time. Xhekaj is not playing tomorrow which is a good thing. Pezz can do the job and flatten him.

  6. Ever hear a' GRETZKY…??? HE DID THIS all the time….check 1980s…😂😂😂…even if score was 8 to 1..!!!

  7. You guys gonna call out all the dirty hits to greer’s head and face that the habs took or is it just Florida that bothers you? No need to respond I already know the answer

  8. Im sorry but if there is time on the clock you should not get fined for shooting a puck at the net . I have not seen a time of when the shot was taken . Call it stupid or dirty if you want .

  9. NHL fans don't understand it's a shit show very surprised the league bothered the stupid $5 thousand fine wow….. please ask people do you like nhl hockey? then ask do you like hockey? Way more like the second because most people understand sports are representative of their society, And why can the nhl hire people just to go out and intimidate (fight) the skill players when it is a crime in our country?

  10. The worst of it all for me is that he got the puck with 12 seconds left so if he wanted to score and make a miracle he wouldve attacked with the time left but instead he went behind the net waited for 1 second and shot it, i think he was aiming for monty honestly just to bother him but yeah that couldve been dangerous

  11. 5,000. Fine is nothing for an NHL player making big time dollars. He almost hit Savard on the head! 😮

  12. What a bunch of sensitive French Trudeau’s clowns 🤡 Millikolla tried one more shot at goal ,so what !!!😄

  14. What's the saying, "play till the whistle blows"? The game is 60 minutes long which means you expect to play for 60 full minutes no matter the score. Does this mean that if the score is 6-0 with five minutes to play the team with nothing shouldn't try to score since they can't come back? Are they not allowed to shoot on net because there is no chance to win? Maybe the league should put in a pussy mercy rule for teams that can't handle a slapshot being taken with time still on the clock.

  15. He wasn't even trying to score. The shot went way left. Looked like he was trying to hit Savard.

  16. LOL Marty is still transforming into Hulk – I guess this is the Bill Bixby phase!

  17. Hope this give the Habs fuel to win back-to-back against the defending champs – agreed, can't risk a needless penalty. Just finish checks and send a message by outscoring them! Glad Mikkola got fined, though, as he should have.

  18. Mikkola, brain-dead behavior? A disrespectful play by a Florida GOON player. Go for the WIN Montreal! Xhekaj has his number, and will destroy him in a fight, period! GO HABS GO !!!!

  19. shooting puck after a whistle or stoppage, is an unwritten rule in hockey..
it's no different than snow showering the opposing goaltender.. and other thing that could gain a psycholigical advantage over your opponent.,

and while not technically illegal, like nothing in the rule book state you can't shoot a puck after the whistle. you still dont do it. just out of respect for the opponent. there's players unsuspecting, and unaware. it can lead to injury. now while in this instance, the puck is still in play… as there's time remaining, but what did Mikkola think he was going to accomplish with 2 seconds on the clock. down 2 lol, not only that, he burn about 8 secs off by ragging the puck, and retreating behind his own net. before recklessly wiring a clapper nearly the full length of the ice.. with opposing players in clear path of it. he knew exactly what his intentions were….

scumbag move! hope he gets what's coming to him.

  20. Canadian press at their finest: make a story about a puck shot off the goal, to make something to talk about and thus them relevant.

Trump seems to be on to something, you sure seem ready to join the US. Posers and hosers, match made in heaven.
