Much love to the McCurdy clan. This loss floored me even more than losing John Short as it was so sudden. Saw Staples doing the Cult of Hockey alone and I kinda figured he'd be out day to day and then ouch. Like so many other Oilers and Bruuuuuuce McCurdy fans out there we feel this one.

I saw David Staples doing his pod cast today and he struggled through the task. I liked the pair doing their thing on their show together. Best wishes to David Staples in continuing his pod cast…it will be hard I’m sure, you could tell that Bruce and David were close.
Bruce, David and you are my first go-to guys after games. "Hey David, how you doing tonight?", "Never in doubt" and "thanks for listening everybody" are memorable, like your "thanks for being a fan". Rest in peace Brucccccccccccce McCurdy.
