One of the loudest, most action packed and intense game I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. You had to be there to understand. I never expected the Caps to play so dirty, they usually are a very tempered team. I will say, out of respect to Ovi, myself and just about everyone were on their feet for his Sniper goal. What an absolute rifle that shot was.
It didn’t matter if you were a canes fan or capitals fan, when Ovi scored that monumental goal, we all stood up and cheered for a long time for him.

The Canes looked great this game. Keep it up!
The 'Canes are really rockin' it now. Since the trade deadline (March 7), the Hurricanes' record is 9-2. At home, 6-1. On the road, 3-1. That loss on the road was to LA, 7-2. Keep in mind that we were missing some key players in that game to injury or illness. We lost at home to Nashville, 3-1, on March 25. I will put that loss on Jet Lag, as Carolina played this game just 2 days after playing in California. Now we are playing like a well-oiled machine. I believe that we can win it all this year. That said, Washington is no pushover. I doubt that we will catch them in the standings, so we will most likely be playing them (if we advance out of first round) with them having home-ice advantage. We traded for the right players at the deadline, so I'm optimistic that we can make it all the way.

Refs kept breaking up the fights. The Caps looked like they were having a temper tantrum.
