Ce jeu entre les Capitals de Washington et les Hurricanes de la Caroline est devenu absolument hors de contrôle! La dernière période a été le chaos complet et Jalen Chatfield qui y allaient avec Connor McMichael était le point d’exclamation! Cependant, ce que Chatfield a fait avec son retrait de McMichael sans casque était complètement inutile et mérite une suspension de la LNH. Mis à part Alex Ovechkin marquant à nouveau pour atteindre seulement 3 buts après avoir réussi Wayne Gretzky, ce jeu a été terrible pour les Capitals alors que les Hurricanes l’ont versé et que nous pouvions voir la frustration bouillonnant de Tom Wilson et que les Capitals dans la seconde moitié du jeu, résultant de plusieurs fausses du jeu, ont été vides à la fin de la fin. Sans aucun doute grand carburant pour cette rivalité avant les séries éliminatoires, mais nous verrons sans aucun doute encore plus dans leur prochaine réunion dans 8 jours. If a player runs around with skate in his hand trying to cut other players he should be suspended for life even if he doesn't actually get someone. Didn't like the Chatfield play and I'm guessing he gets a fine since he doesn't have any priors that I'm aware of.
If there was intent in the Aho slash while absorbing the Wilson hit then there was also intent in Wilson swinging his stick wildly at Aho immediately after.

Hockey isn't judo. Guys are supposed to stand there and trade blows. If you KO your opponent, you're supposed to hold onto his jersey and not let him drop and hit his head on the ice. That's a lot of suppositions to make. Somebody will be killed one day from a fight. Let's not make it easier.

Great piece. I watched the highlights, but missed the fracas at the end. It’s a little ‘off’ to say, “Okay, fight… but don’t hurt each other.”. Stuff happens in a fight… but without a brain bucket, that takedown could’ve ended with a stretcher.
