I am interested in this, as I have no idea how they work lol
Why need offer sheets for Canucks, a few players are already on the way out.
Don't you only try the offer sheet on an RFA?
The problem is the Sabres are going to match any offer. They only way JJ goes else where is a trade that betters buffalo or if a team offersheets JJ Above $11,452,295 which is 4 first round picks.
Flyers are not giving up next years 1st. A chance at McKenna is better then chance especially for a winger.
Yes, the Salary Cap is going way up, but the doesn’t mean that teams won’t DARE other teams to match an Offer Sheet.
Keep in mind, with the Cap going up, it could also work the other way. Teams can afford to OVERPAY to keep certain teams from matching.
Sabres aren't letting peterka go haga
It’s Doug Armstrong , not Bill
Sabres have been under the cap by over 6m or more the last 5 seasons.
Peterka is getting matched

Offer sheet Luke Hughes, trade Hronek for a 2C and sign Ehlers. You have the cap space and that keeps your captain here the rest of his career. Franchise saving move
make an offer too Washington's A. Portras!!! Please!!! he's a beast and fast!!! his brother is awesome as well!!!
Torts is not the Flyers coach.
An NHL player becomes eligible to sign an offer sheet if they meet specific criteria. They must be a restricted free agent (RFA) and have played at least 80 NHL games if they are a forward or defenseman, or 28 NHL games if they are a goaltender, and have completed at least one NHL contract. Additionally, the player must be under 27 years old on July 1 and must not have a contract for the next season. The player must also receive a qualifying offer by June 25 or the Monday after the NHL Entry Draft (whichever is later) from their current team.
please just trade tochett
Lego, save yourself while you can, don't be a Canucks fan like I have been for over 40 years, it will just destory your sanity😢
This is hog wash .
I think canucks front office has to think long and hard about offering Bedard a 1 year offer sheet. Bedard obviously wants to come home. If they match the offer sheet it walks him right to UFA and he can come home.
Unless it's 11 million i see the Sabres matching. If I'm not mistaken a player is offer sheet eligible if they don't have arbitration rights.
Once again fans not understanding offer sheets.
Not sure what these guys can do Lego. They have not instilled any confidence in me. Benning 2.0. I think we are at stage 1 again. Not sure if Quin will want to be ring leader in this circus much longer. At this moment all we have is a good defense and good goaltending. A good defensive forward group that couldn.t score in a whore house. Quin really is our only bright spot. He by himself is carrying this team. So so disappointing. Rick can only do so much and to me this team over achieved using Ricks system.
Let's go Danny Briere offer sheet for Peterka and a big Trade for Mactavish , York and Konecny in the Trade
