How do they bench Robertson after the last 20 games he played is beyond me. Comes back to prove a point. Bench kampf or someone else in my opinion
Watch the players and how hard they hustle next game and you will see Nylander diddle daddling all the time and Robertson putting 100% effort.

So true.. On Dubas teams, he'd have one single guy on the entire team that would fight. And likely forced to by Shanny. I use to hate that! It almost felt abusive to the fighter on the team.. Now? Lorentz, Benoit, McAbe, Knies, Domi, Laughton, Meyers, Carlo, McMann, Reavo. Have all fought for the Leafs this year.. Absolutrly love to see it. This team IS different and ARE contenders!!!

The playoff separate the MEN from the boys, everyone that has won the Stanley Cup will tell you that they really had to fight for the win, its about time that the Leaf's woke up to that reality, GO LEAFS GO!
Leaf's are bigger and more agressive this season (much of it due to Tre,' and Berube who has bought a different attuide to the team, Knies has really shown great development and toughness, MacMan is very srong on the puck, Benoit is fearless although not most skilled player, Nylander has always showed up in the playoffs when others shied away, Mathews is showing a tougher side to his game…i am (perhaps foolishly) expecting a better playoff run this season, not saying anything like winning the cup, but a deeper run. Well will see soon enough.

I really hope Berube doesn’t do what Keefe did last year and not rest his top Guys on last few games of year . Last year Matthews’s , nylander and mcmann all got hurt last week of season . They need to be rested and healthy this playoffs . Go leafs go!!!!

The ‘ Berube ‘ effect has taken a little time as far as leafs were free wheelers under Sheldon Keefe ,so seeing them be a little less exciting which could seem like a negative but slowly but surely you were starting to see the chiefs personality start coming out in everybody ..and certainly the leafs are looking like Frankenstein coming up out of the rubble looking to do serious damage in the playoffs ,getting great goaltending and potentially home ice for at least a series or 2 and there is very good reason to think the unthinkable has its best chance to happen this year …..the Bérubé voodoo is real and has been taking names and will start kicking a**s shortly in search of lord Stanley !
I hope the Leafs give up their typical play in the playoffs. The playoffs are much tougher and grittier. Something the Leafs have been unable to do.

I'd rather see them lose games playing with team toughness than the way they've been losing over the last 7 years.
Toughness and standing up is a legit strategy needed to get a cup. When a team ignores this it disadvantages all their players and reduces their odds of a championship. An 8 year lesson is enough. Drop your playoff balls and go get this.
