1. Id be happy with Schaefer, Misa, Martone, Hagens, Eklund and Frondell, in that order. I am higher on Eklund than most, he doesn't have much size but I love the pace he plays with.

  2. Excellent content as usual! Misa first for me if the Bruins can get him. Honestly though any of the players you covered would be a welcome addition. Go Bruins!!

  3. Would love Misa but probably won't get a shot at him. All the others are good but they all have a flaw or two that makes me reluctant.

  4. why, for the love of god @bruinsdiehards, are we trusting Sweeney with this critical draft? Way too important, and you know he is targeting some bench-warmer 5'10" D from Harvard ranked as the ~50th overall prospect.

  5. You know they will move mountains to draft Hagens. They have tunel vision when it comes to college players. I hope I'm wrong and they just pick the best player available.

  6. From everything I've read….there is a significant drop-off from #1 to everyone else (Schaffer). If the Bruins get #1, they either need to draft Shaffer, or trade the pick to move back 1 or 2 picks to still get a Center. Getting number 1 and not taking Shaffer would be a waste. If you get #1, and you don't plan on drafting Schaffer, you need to move back and get some additional assets (but only move back 1 or 2 spots so you still get a very solid player)

If the Bruins stay at 4, I would pick Misa (who likely won't be available) or Frondell before Hagans

  7. Every pick the bruins make should be a center. They can always be moved to wing later on. Look at the 2020/21 Tampa teams, almost every forward on those teams was drafted as a center and moved to wing as necessary to fill out the lineup

  8. @ #1: Misa
    @ #4: Frondell

But knowing the Bruins, they'll go off the board and draft an "elite" 4th liner.

  9. will they be patient and try to build or will they work in trades for NHL ready players? It would depend on how many lottery balls they gain by tanking the last few games. Will they look outside the neighborhood and go more european? Yuo dont win by having the most American players on your roster.

  10. When someone is clearly better, I agree take the best player, but it can be a little rock, paper scissors and so need should be considered when the gap is small. All these guys look great but I'm not getting my hopes up until the lottery happens. The Bruins finally did what they needed to do so hopefully it works out but doesn't mean it will. Regardless of where they land, hopefully they get someone that makes the team better.
