If I’m being totally honest as a longtime Caps fan, neither were as scary dominant as Super Mario Lemieux. Lemieux struck fear into my heart like no other athlete in any sport, ever. Wayne and Alex were fortunate enough to have long careers. Neither of them were as good as Mario Lemieux imho. And that hurts to say as a Caps fan
Been a pleasure to watch Ovie through the years, made me fall in love with hockey. I wish his old man could have been alive to see his accomplishment.
