  1. People just love to give Winnipeg a bad rep solely because of its winter. Yes, the winters here are extremely cold and long, but after April, the weather becomes beautiful for about 5-6 months. Winnipeg during the summer is just amazing. The only horrible part of the winters here are from January to April. The cold weather leading up to Christmas is all part of the holiday season anyway.

    But see—when most players come here and actually experience Winnipeg’s charm, the warm and welcoming treatment of the organization and fans, they fall in love and want to stay. They just need to give it a chance.

  2. Vladdy is a gem, player, and person. I kinda agree our city may not be as good as it used to be, but I still love hearing positive remarks on it.
