I’m happy the sens are in. I know sens may lose in the opening round, but hey we play the games and find out the real truth.
My conspiracy theory is that the Senators will win it all in 2026-2027. for no other reason than years ending in 07 seem to be where all the big drama happens.

i hate the sens and will never stop. their rivalry with montreal is more heated than the one with toronto. they even keep recalling junior hockey goons for pre-season games against the habs year after year. i have no respect for them at all.

As a huge Sens fan I’m very happy for a return to NHL play-offs and yes, I think the underdog status will do them well (less pressure from high ecpectations). Your analysis was fair and just – good job! Thank-you for the acknowledgement on a team that does not get enough respect it deserves.

Yes, playing on Ottawa doesn’t get your name out to the media mass, but, as much as I love me some Anderson, he was always hot and cold. One year hot next year cold, pretty much his entire career. That being said, and as you said, when he was on, Vesna caliber for shizzle. I am pumped. As Staois said, we are the underdogs in any series and we better play like it. Let’s Fkn Go Sens!!!
As to how they are dangerous. A, Ullmark, he’s won a Vezna. Not great numbers in the playoffs, but small sample size and he was always in comp with Sway. B, Tkachuk. Anyone who saw 4 Natuons know that when you take the leash off, this guy will run right through a wall. And C, we role 4 lines and 3 Pairings. D, could amd should be Sanderson. The guy took a bit of a sophomore slump, but once he got Zub back, he’s been unstoppable. In all zones.

Yes the team gets shutout often… but they also shut the opponents out often. They lead the league with 10 shutouts
