  1. This group of players is a bunch of cowards that have zero pride and zero accountability and zero effort. That is a punch in the face (big FU )for the fans.

  2. How does Molly not know that about Boyle. She’s got DEI written all over her. As far ss the Rangers they were a soft entitled group. Now they’re old and slow. Clean house

  3. GM undermined morale at the very start by his treatment of Goodrow, then Trouba. Didn't move the Captain "C" to anyone else, just wrecked the guy wearing it. Then leaks of silly memos to the league. That isn't leadership – FIRE.
Coach appears like a confused dad who can't get the kids to stop cutting class and get a job. No discipline, no accountability, no consequences – FIRE.
Goalies hung out to dry – no D, no hitting, no pushback, no backcheck – FIRE D Coach
Players have obviously already checked out. Trade the slackers like Laffy for whatever you can get. 7th round draft pick would be turning a profit. Z and Kreider have done much in the past – but its time to go.

  4. Kreider has never been consistent. He has longevity and is an all-world athlete. But for too many seasons he has shown up in body only. I'm sorry. He might be a great guy, but I've never been sold on his heart consistently.

  5. Even these journalist's can see the obvious no show from Kreider. And can publicly admit it. Yet the GM hasn't addressed it. And I don't mean that Drury needed to trade him. Just fix the tear. Admit that you made a mistake in calling him out publicly and threatening a trade. Or whatever it takes. And if that couldn't be repaired you had since November to move on from him. This guy doesn't wear the C on his jersey but everyone knows he is the leader in that room. He is the longest tenured Ranger. He has out lasted 5 coaching changes and 3 GMs. He survived a full tear down and rebuild. He has seen 2 Captains get traded in his time. As a GM if you take on a person with that resume….you better be sure the owner has your back because he is no one's fool.
Drury it was nice knowing you but I would much rather have Kreider still a Ranger then you as the GM. Your mistakes over the last 5 seasons far outweigh him quitting this year. Regardless of this I still think you need to go.

  6. I hate this team and I’ve never said that about the Rangers. Not so much of the young players but the veterans. Aside for letting Sam down this season, every single person within this organization needs a long and hard evaluation. What a disappointing season.

  7. Am I the only one that thinks everyone has been overreacting all season? No, it wasn't a good year, but that happens. The Rangers went into panic mode prematurely and burned bridges in a manner reminiscent of 2016. Miller was a good add, but 3 years overdue. And Kreider? It’s one season, towards the end of his career when you expect a drop-off anyway, and people are now talking about him as though his entire legacy counts for nothing because he hasn’t kept pace with the past 3 seasons?!

  8. I love the Rangers. This team was a bunch of quitters. No heart
    Mailed it in.
Keep JT, TROCHY, SHESTY QUICKY DUMP REST.

  9. Larry and Mollie are hacks they just suck off the veteran core players and laviolette it’s pathetic they’ve been the ones all year saying those players needed to keep getting the top ice time in all the big moments and special teams and fans and media people have the balls to wanna get rid of younger players instead of the gutless cowards like Mika Kreider and Panarin they are pussies and they’ve caused a cancerous culture the reason they are in this position is cuz there’s no accountability for any of the vets who get all the ice time

  10. Kreider should not be traded if Drury wants to trade Kreider he has to get permission from Dolan it should be a Dolan decision. I'm tired of not having a home-grown Rangers star play his entire career on Broadway.

  11. Whatever it is that has destroyed the emotional and physical commitment of this team, it is not small. This has been a crash & burn season – most all season. We know they are skilled and capable. Their play on ice along with being caught too many times with too many men on the ice is as if they either are being forced into executing a very unnatural game or face conflicted coaching or harbor deep resentment or all of the above. Either you guys can’t go public with the real reason(s) or it’s something way high up and buried in the structure of the franchise. What’s the chance politics poisoned the relations across the team? Timing is consistent. FWIW, I still believe in Kreider – something/someone broke his faith & loyalty in the team.

  12. On defense players away from the puck constant doing puck watching in fact they all want to chase the puck carrier, PATHETIC. On offensive, players away from the puck stands around instead moving hence east-west pass is doomed.

  13. 2024 – No Quit in NY , 2025 – I don't give a crap about hockey , my teammates or my coach. I'm trading Lareneire for a bag of pucks, kid is a lazy bum. This is the most unlikable rangers team in my lifetime, 38 years old.

  14. Those semi-finals in 2022 and 2024 were a lot of fun but I was so ready for a real rebuild after the 2018 letter, a rebuild like Jeff Gorton’s Canadiens. Now, the Rangers will probably have to start things all over again…without a high draft pick(the Pittsburgh pick) this year or in 2026.

  15. One of the softest teams in my lifetime, I really cant wrap my brain around this team. Especially in December going 4-16 and having the worst goals per game in a 20 game stretch in the NHL. I don't think the rangers had a more lifeless offense in the last 20 years.

  16. My question is how to lose mr.missed Z….Krieder has healthy value….no problem for trade…need PROFESSIONAL CENTERS.

  17. Wanted Knobloch to be coach over Laviolette last year but that is water under the bridge. Didn’t want Messier as head coach but after seeing this year’s heartless collapse, I am open to bringing in Mess as coach.

  18. I obviously mentioned what a big fan i have been of Zac Jones. He makes quick, smart decisions with and without the puck stickhandling always with his head up. The core D to keep i believe are Zac,Schneider,Borgen,Soucy and unfortunately Fox who regressed greatly from his days with Lindgren.,but is really good like Zac Offensively.Forwards,my opinion, get rid of Kreids/Mika,maybe get a lot for Bread although i want him to stay, keep Grinders Troch,JT,make JT Captain and our young forwards never showed a lack of intensity. Will be difficult to move Kreids?Mika with NMContracts, but it can be done. Lavi/Housley/maybe PP coach should have been let go in December.Brutal Season,UGH!!

  19. I love your podcast and eagerly wait for next one. As a fan who is emotionally invested since 1991, this season is especially painful given last 3 years. They have the best signing (Panarin) in my lifetime and sad to know there will be debate if they move on. Kreids has been a great player and he looks defeated. As does Mika and Troch. Miller was a great signing and hope he becomes next Captain. They need to move on from Ki and bolster their D
