People actually said that the lightning might miss the playoffs because they lost to many pieces during the off-season they lost their entire third line which was one of the best last year and then kuch gets hurt so they're doomed people said then point and cernak gets hurt and here we are with the lightning in first place with the most points in the league

By this stage I hope the alarm bells are going off in the Vegas camp for improved defense. They did so well stealing and intercepting and they were able to convert some of those into goals. They just gotta be able to shut down plays as well as they can make them. Stand tall Vegas, you're doing better than a lot people foresaw, but you know you gotta be way better if you're thinking play-offs this year.
